  • I am certainly delighted. My sister Polly was in Lancaster at the Quilter’s Heritage Celebration. She called to tell me that my quilt “A Plate of Pineapples” was chosen as a Judge’s Choice. Then she sent met this picture. I think I need some pins stuck in me.

  • How exciting! Congratulations! Those judges were right – it is certainly a spectacular quilt!

  • Julia what fun, fun, fun I had. Holly and I would hang around the crowds viewing your quilt and just listen to what they would say… “My just look at the wonderful detail!” “Part of the quilting is done in sparkly gold, that really adds to the whole quilt.” “Wow” “This one sure does deserve a ribbon!”
Julia I wish I had a little tape recorder for you.
I think I might need some pins stuck in me too, just being your sister!
    Love you much, ~Polly~

  • It’s gorgeous!  Is it hand quilted?  Beautiful work!!

  • Congrats!

  • Congratulations!  And by the way you say this Quilt Show was in Lancaster.  Is that Lancaster  PA?  Just curious.  I used to help at Sauder’s Fabrics whenever the Quilt Show was in Lancaster, PA.  Bus Loads of folks from all over the world would come to shop at Sauders when they were around for the show.  My brother works at Sauder’s now.

  • Congratulations!! That is so exciting! That quilt is so lovely. I have always wanted to work with the pineapple design, but so far I never have.

  • Congratulations Julia, absolutely Awesome.

  • Congratualtions!!!! You certainly are gifted in the “quilt area”!!
