  • Fancy Flowers

… and now my BOM is finished. Remember this post?

It’s for Sharon, a member of our PTQ. She chose the black background and yellow center and then we could do the flowers with our own color choices.

The singing was quite enthuciastic at “The Potter’s House.”

Somehow “Jacob’s” wells have a special attraction to me.

This one had a trough that was carved from a log.

And then the sheep keep me fascinated too.

  • Trip to Romania

Paul and I along with our youngest son, Craig and Ang recently had a short trip to Romania. We joined my sister Coleen & Glen in Atlanta and traveled together. We were welcome by a little snow in Munich, Germany.

    ZRomania21

Then at the Cluj, RO airport we met Loradana’s brother George. Loradana had sent some baby gift items for her family and George had come to pick them up.

    zRomania12

We enjoyed the beautiful snow as it covered the village of Hapria.

    zRomania13

Craig, Ang, and Coleen inspected the corn crib across the neighboring fence.

    ZRomania4

At Gica’s house we spotted this beautiful Christmas Cactus.

    ZRomania5

Iosef and Cornelia with their young family. The girls enjoyed making Christmas cards for their cousins.

We visited and the elderly care home where Adrian and Mehila are in charge.

    ZRomania9

Glen and Coleen visit with Mehila.

    ZRomania8

Ang visits with some of the residents and can’t understand a word they are saying. They smile and laugh and keep on talking.

    ZRomania7

One evening we listened as the young folks from Hapria practiced some Christmas songs. The tunes are familiar but the words are gibberish.
