  • Saturday Evening

We had a slim group for our Saturday night pizza last evening. Quintens were in Ohio, and Dustin & Craig were invited to Petres for a “drizzle” steak supper for Shelah’s fiance, Matt.

Joel served up the pizza. We were glad for Vicki’s presence too.

The little princess Georgiana, now weighs 9 lbs. I think she looks like the Rhodes, and then for some reason I see Fred Wenger’s mouth. I wonder is she is kin to him. And you know she has gained weight with that double chin!

Paul got a new phone and is learning how to use it. He had a hard time hearing on his old one and would cram it into his ear so hard that he made a sore spot that scabbed over.

Somehow I got carried away with Georgiana!

  • hehe-Are your sure its Fred’s mouth you’re seeing and not his chin. (BTW-I don’t think she’s related to him in any way.)  Thanks for the pic you sent.

  • Aww, Georgiana is adorable! (and I love her little dress too) If only that parting shot were a video clip!

  • I do love seeing your family pictures! And that Georgiana is so precious!

  • I can see why it’s easy for you to get carried away with Georgiana!  Looks like she got carried away BY you, too!!

  • Julia what in the world is a “drizzle steak supper”. Never heard of that before.
    Little Georgiana is a doll.
The picture of Joel showing Paul pointers on his new phone is a classic shot.
Paul looks tickled with his new gadget.

  • Do I see Sheila with a new hair style?

  • What a familiar and cozy scene – family around the table enjoying pizza together! I was so glad to see pix of Georgi. What a little darling cutie! I see the Rhodes look too, but not the Wenger and not Graber. I’d have loved to have heard the piano duo too.

  • I laughed about Georgiana having U. Fred’s mouth, and then I saw the picture, and thought, “She does!!!” I can see what you mean! His mother was Nettie Rhodes, so maybe they do connect back there somewhere. She is a precious little thing, and up to 9 lbs! God is good! I’m curious too, about the “drizzle” steak supper. Never heard of it. I enjoyed seeing Vicki in your pictures too. We went to Heritage together in ’96.

  • Thanks for the picture of Georgiana!. I havn’t seen a close-up picture of her since she was born.
I know your pizza was delicious, for I have tasted them delicious pizzas you make.

  • @MeNyouandadognamedWilma - Did you read Deborah’s comment about that Fred Wenger chin?

@PollythePatchworker - Thelma explains what a “drizzle” is on her blog http://bonniejane.xanga.com .

  • Great Pics… I hope to make it to Macon to see your quilts….. probably not for the reception…as work will conflict. Thanks for sharing.
