| We had a fun day today at our Magnolia Annual Guest Day Sewing. These ladies are quilting a "signature" quilt to be given to a family moving away.
This "nine-patch" was pieced by one of our faithful deceased members.
Tying comforts. This one is a white "bow tie."
These ladies are putting together cheer bundles for Cherry Creek Mission in North Dakota.
And while we enjoy the sewing part, the children enjoyed playing together. There were over 25 children there.
I helped on the "string" quilt.
I was so pleased to have these 2 young girls to help make blocks.
We made a total of 24 for the day.

| Hello, how do you do?
It's nice to meet you. |
| |
| Joel and Sheila just rode in peddling away.
They thought Paul & I needed to give it a whirl.
Away we go.
Sheila raises the seat back up for their ride home.
Away they go!

I am so thankful for the suggestions that came in for naming my quilt. African Sunrise Sunrise Safari or Sunset Safari Blue Berry Muffin (Paul's suggestion) Midas Touch Something with "jewel" or "gem" in it. Something with "desert" or "cactus" in it. Thorns or spikes. So with all this info, I went to the KJV of the Bible and looked up the word "desert" and decided on "The Desert Shall Rejoice" --Is. 35:1 Remember this picture when you all were so curious to know the outcome?
