A couple weeks ago I made this little postcard quilt for Sheila. It was a fast and fun project. She wanted it for “Old Hat.”
I ran the fabric through the printer to get the picture. And then for the back I printed the words “Old Hat” in different sizes and different fonts.

and Old Hat loves it! Thank you so very much. It has a place of honor here on my desk.
Thank you for using your talent to bless me.
Old Hat
that is so neat! Im curious, do you just make a random stitch on your machine for the quilting, or have a pattern?
Fabulous!
Amazing!!
This is wonderful — is it truly postcard size? Nice work!
How special Mornin Glorie…The Hatster is a lucky fellow and I had no idea you could run fabric through a printer – was it a special printer or something? Really Nice Work
How very cool that is!
That is really great! You’re so creative.
What an artist!! Love it.
@chambray7 - I sketch on papaer about the same size as my quilt and then set my sewing machine to straight stitch and just try to kinda copy my paper sketch.
@mlbncsga - No special printer. Just iron your fabric to freezer paper and send it through the printer.
