  • Ghost Quilting

I took a quilting class in Jackson recently with Ms. Martha Ginn as my teacher.

She had each of us cut out a 6”X6” piece of focus fabric and fuse it to a larger piece of border or background fabric.
Then in class she gave us ideas on how to quilt the center piece and extend the quilting into the large border.

  • Julia what a fun class. I love the way you extended the fan with the gold thread and other elements. The possibilities are endless. I’m hoping to have my Wonky verse quilt all pieced together by campout next week. I’ll bring it along and hope you all can give me some good quilting pointers.

  • Neat. Looks very interesting. Have fun.

  • What a neat idea, I will have to try this some day.

  • Of all the ones you posted, yours is my favorite!
