  • I have a friend who lives in the desert in Arizona and I just gave her the link to this site. She will LOVE this quilt. Her site is http://www.xanga.com/dominie. She is a friend of Polly’s so you have probably heard from/of her. The quilt is so significant in its colors and design. I am impressed.

  • This quilt is so stunning. The colors are even more vibrant in real life and for those of you who will read this, I’m proud to say that Julia’s quilt is a finalist in the contest and will be featured in a book as well as travel with the eighteen winners. The quilts will be in quilt shows, museams, and shown at guilds for the next two years. Way to go Julia and a big congratulations.

  • Hello.  I am Mary Ann’s and Polly’s friend from AZ.  Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous!  The colors are so perfect. Our mountains are so vibrant with changing colors when the sun is rising and setting.  Your captured those colors along with the bright sun and blue skies.  You are so right to report that the desert has much color.  Ours is the high desert and has a lot of vegetation.  The spring brings so many wild flowers that are purple, yellow and blue.  Many people do not like the desert because it is not as green as where they came from, but if they would open their minds they would see a different beauty.

  • The quilt is SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! And congratulations on being a finalist. You and your sisters are so talented.  God Bless,   Anna

  • Oh, my, this quilt is stunning! I feel as if I’m looking through a kaleidoscope! Congratulations on the recognition you will receive…you deserve it!

  • I’d love to see you work.  Do you design on the computer, on paper, or with material?  Truly beautiful!
