Magnolia’s 50th Anniversary — Part 3
It was fun again to sing with the Magnolia Melodies. We used to get together every week to practice singing. And now it brought back good memories of days gone by. Click on the side link of “A Lovely Rose” to hear one of the songs we sang.
The next 2 pictures are part of the youth group from the 1960s.
This is part of the 1970s youth group.
These are all Schrock girls from 2 separate families. Their mothers are Nettie and Anna.

Julia, thanks for sharing that song link…it was lovely!
I love true acapella music — I’m not in a situation to hear it much any more, and when I hear people who know how to sing the way we sang in our churches when I was growing up — it’s like heaven to my ears! Thanks for the link.
Thanks for posting the pics…so fun to see familier faces!!! But wow the years do change us! : )
I have thoroughly been enjoying these 50th reunion pictures. Are you all putting out a 50th anniversary booklet?
Thank you for the gift to me this morning!
The message made my heart sing. Your harmony is so comfortable and pure, how fortunate you are to have each other.
The video was beautiful and I will slip back in and listen to it again and again.
I really enjoy listening to the Magnolia Melodies on CD !
I bought my first Magnolia Melody CD last August from “For the Lamb Studio”. I bought it because I loved the song played on the
sample named “Oh the Things We May Do”. Even thought I enjoy all the songs, I fell in love with “The Little Things” (composer unknown) and
listen to that song over and over !
Later I bought the other three CD’s that you all recorded ! I really enjoy it !
