  • Teaching High School

Last Thursday and Friday I substituted for our high school teacher. I sure enjoyed interacting with the students. It was interesting to hear their thoughts and comments on different subjects even though some of the material was way over my head like, buying bonds

    and WWII history.

Friday was “hot lunch” day for the school children; so I got to enjoy that too.

The students sure enjoyed break time and playing softball.

Home runs always brought a lot of yelling and cheering.

  • In your footprints it will say on the right (under referrer) what link the person clicked to come to your site (if they clicked any link at all). If you click on that it will take you to the page they came from. That sounds confusing. It really isn’t.

So if someone googled “Emily Smucker” and came to my site, than in my footprints it would say http://www.google.com/s and if I click on it it will take me to a google page showing what they searched for and all.

  • I enjoy your posts so much Julia. And I think I must have subscribed to most of your sisters’ posts too. Those quilts you and your sisters make are fantastic.  But I guess I’ve said that before.

  • Ahhh. School days these pics. brought back alot of memories of playing ball and I always enjoyed hot lunches looked forward to them all the time. Good post!

  • I meant to ask how the teaching went–quite well from the looks of it!  I knew ya’ll did those little quilt things for art but that was all, glad to know more. RYC-You sound like Joel.  He asked me just today when I am going to start a book.
