Visit to Virginia and Kirby
I had a wonderful weekend with my folks and family. Check out www.xanga.com/pollythepatchworker to see our time together on Saturday. On Friday we had coffee with Aunt Vera Rose.
We enjoyed looking at this velvet quilt that she made and did the feather stitching.
She showed us one that Grandmother Vera made.
Then we visited a little with long time friends Glenn & Ann Rohrer.
Announcing the birth of our first grandchild, Kirby Dean Graber.
Evie & Kirby in the Johnny-Jump-Up.
Sheila sewing a denim blanket for Kirby.

cool!!!
Boy, Amy sure doesn't spare any words does she?
Aunt Vera Rose is just brimming with hospitality. A year or so ago I stopped in and was treated to a little "coffee party".
Who is the child in the antique picture on the wall?
Will Grandmother's fan comfort be in the Harrisonburg Museum this fall?
I love the little touches of yellow in the denim comfort that Sheila is piecing for Kirby.
I'm so glad you got to visit with Glenn and Ann. I know it was special for them that you all stopped in. We have a lot of good memories of them down through the years!!
Congratulations Grandma, and belated Happy Mother's Day! I'm happy that you were able to spend it with those you love. I really like Aunt Vera's velvet quilt. It was good to see her again. Have a great year!
